Coleshill Church

North Wall of Chancel: Architectural Inscription

This Gothic canopied inscription was created in 1802 by Coade & Seely. It is to Sir Mark Stuart Pleydell of Coleshill House and his wife, Mary Stuart. He was the great great grandson of Sir Henry Pratt and father of the Viscountess Folkestone. He died in October 1768.
