Farringdon Lodge
A Case of Mistaken Identity

If anyone has a copy of this, not uncommon, engraving of "Farringdon Lodge, Berkshire" by Castle, after Smith (circa 1840), you may be interested to know that, as far as I can ascertain, there is no such place as Farringdon (or Faringdon) Lodge. This is actually an engraving of Parham Old Hall in Suffolk.
